Salvacion`

Salvation why should I care?

Why do we need salvation?

Because of our Destination;

All of us are going to die and we are destined to be condemned and in eternity suffer in hell together with Satan’s Crew.

Fact: Hell is not really meant for Human but just for Satan and his Crew but being against God by our disobedience and sins like Satan makes us one of his crew.

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Matthew 25:41

Salvation from what?

; From Starvation? ; From poverty? ; From hurt? ; From war? ; From Sickness? ; From all of the suffering that this world brings?

Salvation from the judgement of God: tasting the second death and eternal suffering in Hell

27 Just as people are destined to die once (on earth), and after that to face judgment,

Hebrews 9:27

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

I Corinthians 5:10

14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire (second death).

Revelation 20:14-15

That’s the judgement I’m talking about.

But why, what have we done?

It’s sin… It’s all because of sin… from the moment we have seen this world we have the capacity, the ability to do all kinds of sin that continually separate us from God. Our ability to sin is an inherited ability from our origins, Adam and Eve. We are created in the image of God, with freewill. Since they (Adam and Eve) had known and learned how to sin and how to disobey God, so as the same with us and as a result of our sins… death.

Fact: The reason, why human inevitably will die?  Answer: Sin

Factors of Sin

Internal – We are capable of making sins because we inherit the ability of doing it. We sin intentionally or not, unknowingly or not.

External – Satan and his crew are in their work in this world, they are spirits (cannot be seen but manifest through human actions and beliefs) that are subjected already to be condemned in Hell. No power at all but because they can influence human thoughts and actions, they seem to become powerful. I hate to say that.

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned”

Romans 5:12

Let me take it this way… There was a functional machine that creates stainless plate but something happened wherein the part of the machine that molds the materials to become plates was the damaged and deformed. Since then, the machine created deformed stainless plate.  The same analogy with us, since our origins deformed themselves by sin, everyone started to be born deformed and not in the real actual design of the creator.

How can I save my self?

Salvation of course requires a savior and the savior must be pure and righteous, but no one is righteous, holy and spotless enough to be a savior.

Fact: No one alone is righteous enough to save himself.

10 As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one;

Romans 3:10

But in every rule there is always an exception, except Jesus.

God gave us the laws and commandments but humans find it all hard to obey. That’s why being a good person whether you feel you are good or others may tell you, are not enough to be considered righteous by the law because somehow intentionally or not, knowingly or unknowingly you sinned and violates the law and the commandments of God. For whoever breaks one of the laws breaks them all, leaving everyone liable and subjected to the curse of disobedience which is death and eternal condemnation after the judgement.

20 Therefore no-one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law (being good and keeping the commandments); rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

Romans 3:20

But God did something awesome and indescribable. The God who created everything; whom a lot people since the creation of the world rejected and denied Him; was still the one who made a way for our salvation and we all know the story. God had prepared everything, from Abraham to David to the prophecies of the Prophets, just for the purpose of giving us a way to reconnect to Him through our faith in His Son Jesus whom He sent.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

1 Peter 3:18

12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:12-13

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

This might be the right question you have wanted to ask… How can be saved?

God had already done his part, he already provided a way, and just like in the days of Noah, he is just waiting patiently, for what? For the response of the people; what you need to do? Is to respond with the way that God provided to reconnect to Him.

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation…

2 Peter 3:15

How?

Believe and Receive Jesus in your life and in your heart.

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Revelation 3:20

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9

You alone should be the one to do this. Depart to somewhere you can be intimate to God, not emotional but just being sincere. God knows if you are just acting in front of the congregation you attend, or if you plan to accept Christ in the presence of church congregation, be sure that you are not just emotionally pressured by the situation. It should be self-willed and intentional, without doubt and confusion, without looking for answers to your questions, why? ; And why? ; In your life and others life. Salvation comes by faith and not by understanding all our life’s question. Salvation becomes real when you believe that after you die you will be raised from the dead just like Jesus whom it happened to be the proof of our salvation.

Here’s the time you can say “not my will but your will be done in my life” If you believe  in Christ at this very moment, follow this simple prayer.

15 As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”

Hebrews 3:15

Dear Lord Jesus,

I admit that I’m a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I accept the forgiveness of my sins and as a response I will turn away from it. I invite you Lord Jesus to come into my heart and reign in my life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.

In your name, Lord Jesus, Amen

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

John 1:12

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

2 Corinthians 5:17

This is real, if you really believed and without doubt accepted Christ promises; you indeed receive it according to your faith. Here’s the challenge, if you die today, for sure you will be in paradise and receive what God has promised you but that’s not what happens most.  Remember as long as we are here in this world, Satan has a business with us. You have to continue in your faith and that will cause you to grow and be strong, and also remain in repentance. Repentance means: “continually turning away from sin” Christian life is a life of repentance. It’s your continues response for the forgiveness of your sin that you have received when you accepted Christ in your life. In reality, even though we are trying to go away from sin, we still sin, whether intentional or not, that’s why we are save through our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord but we need to confess our sins and then repent ( continue turning away from it ) and God will help us get rid of the shadow of sin in our life and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

I John 1:9

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Here are some ways to help you grow in faith and in relationship to God and his body the church.

1. Read your Bible everyday, meditate not just read and then apply in your daily basis.

2. Talk to God in prayer every day. Make it a habit. It seems really awkward to talk to someone you don’t see but that’s one way of expressing your faith to Him. Just like what Jesus said to Thomas:

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

John 20:29

3. Tell others about Christ. This is hard for someone who has just begun but that’s how the Gospel will be spread, from me to you and from you to others. A chain reaction;

4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached. This is also important, you cannot survive this world without accompany.

5. As Christ representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others. This is your spiritual act of worship, when you offer your life for others.

Have a blessed Life. Let’s continue following Christ.
